The American Butt Weld 90° Elbow (Short Radius) is a key component in piping systems, designed for sharp directional changes where space is limited. It is widely used in industries like oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation due to its compact design and efficiency. The short radius (1.0D) allows for tighter bends compared to long radius elbows, making it suitable for confined spaces or high-pressure systems.
American Butt Weld 90° Elbow(Short Radius)
- Diameters available: 1/2‘ to 48’ for small pipework systems, with larger diameters available on a customised basis to meet a wide range of industrial and commercial requirements.
- Wall thickness range: firemins produces critical wall thicknesses to meet schedule pipe requirements, ranging from schedule 10 to schedule 160, ensuring that customers can customise their products to meet their requirements.
- Testing: To safeguard pipe performance, each pipe is hydrostatically tested for pressure resistance and ultrasonically inspected as well as radiographically inspected to ensure product integrity.
- Surface treatment: The surface of the pipe fittings is finely polished to make the surface smooth. Anti-corrosion coatings such as epoxy resin/paint/galvanising can be added to the surface to improve the corrosion resistance of the product.
- Production process: Hot forming or cold rolling process can be adopted.
