Process: Seamless and welded
Nominal diameter: 1/2 inch to 48 inches (DN15-DN1200)
Wall thickness: Adjusted for Sch grade
We have been manufacturing and selling pipe fittings for more than 20 years, selling low prices and producing high quality pipe fittings are our obvious advantages, welcome to inquire.
The American Butt Weld Cap has been specially optimized for sealing performance. 45° bevel design allows for a weld depth of 1.25 times the wall thickness.
American Butt Weld Cap Used to close the end of the pipeline to prevent the medium from leaking or entering impurities, commonly used in petroleum, chemical, energy and other pipeline systems, terminal or branch pipe ends.
American Butt Weld Cap
- Welding process: Butt Weld with 37.5° bevel angle in accordance with ASME B16.25 is required. Standard.
- Weight based on density 7.85 g/cm³ for carbon steel, 3-5% more for stainless steel.
- Sch 40: Low-pressure systems (150-300 psi)23 ,Additionally, Sch 80/160: High-pressure systems (2000 psi and above).
- Manufactured using TIG welding to ensure improved sealing performance. The manufacturing process starts with the cutting of the steel plate, and the bevel is de-oxidized before welding.
