We have been manufacturing and selling pipe fittings for more than 20 years, selling low prices and producing high quality pipe fittings are our obvious advantages, welcome to inquire.
American butt weld reducing crosst hrough tee is a kind of butt-welding equal diameter tee fittings with butt-welding connection. It has four interfaces of the same diameter, and the appearance distribution presents cross-shaped symmetry. It is generally used for diverting or converging fluids in piping systems, and is suitable for environments with high pressure, high temperature or corrosive media.
American Butt Weld Reducing Tee
- Selection of material: according to the characteristics of the medium.
- Match the pipe wall thickness and pressure level to ensure system safety.
- Welding: Welding is carried out in strict accordance with process specifications to avoid deformation or leakage due to thermal stress.
Inspection: Large pipe fittings (DN ≥ 600) are assembled by single-piece welding, and 100% radiographic testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) are required to ensure the quality of welds. - Parameters: The bevel angle is preferably 30°~37.5°, and the thickness of the blunt edge is 1.6~3.2mm, which is able to adapt to the wall thickness of the pipe and ensure the reduction of welding stress.
Common Materials
- Commonly used materials
Carbide decomposition (carbon steel): >425 ℃, need to be covered with nickel-based alloy on the inner wall. - Duplex steel: H₂ partial pressure > 0.1bar, can be used in ultra-low carbon variant (C ≤ 0.02%).
- Stainless steel: impact properties decline after long-term use at 600 ~ 900 ℃, need to strictly control the content of Cr / Mo.
