ASTM A795 fittings, a key delivery element in the building and energy sectors, balance strength (tensile strength ≥ 485 MPa) and toughness (-46°C impact function ≥ 27 J) through an optimized carbon steel component ratio. Its standardized size system and modular pressure grading enable it to adapt to a wide range of scenarios from civil water supply and drainage to industrial piping, while strict sulfur and phosphorus control (S ≤ 0.075%, P ≤ 0.09%) guarantees excellent weldability.

ASTM A795 Size Charts

Below is the size chart of astm a795 pipe, we only list some stereotypical sizes, more size information please contact us, thank you!

Dimensional tolerance system (ASME B36.10M)

1. Allowable deviation of OD
General rule: ±1% of nominal OD, meanwhile, meet the strict limit of absolute value deviation ≤0.5mm
Special size control: the pipeline below DN300 (NPS 12) is subject to more stringent control of ellipticity (≤0.8% of OD)
2. Wall thickness fluctuation range
Allowable range: -12.5% to +15% of nominal wall thickness
Local thinning limit: measured wall thickness at any point shall not be less than 87.5% of the nominal value, and the positive deviation in the weld area should be ≤10%.

ASTM A795 Steel Pipe Process Requirements

ASTM A795 pipes are welded, and the welds of the welding process are an area of concern because they directly affect the life of the pipe. The following is the welding process we use, weld treatment, as well as post-inspection, the qualified performance of the product we maintain a 100-point vigilance.

1. Adopting multi-pass seam welding to reduce the heat input of single-pass welding and effectively control the temperature between 15-200 degrees Celsius.
2. Immediately after welding hydrogen elimination treatment, the wall weld hardness is abnormal
3. Metallographic organization test: take samples in the center of the weld and the three areas of heat influence, use 10% oxalic acid electrolytic corrosion for 90s.
All indicators are qualified before they are sold as finished products.
