Grooved 90° Reducing Elbow

  • Standard: ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11 .
  • Material: carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel
  • Certification: UL/FM for fire protection systems.
  • Diameter: DN15 (1/2“) to DN200 (8”)

The Grooved 90° Reducing Elbow connects grooved pipe of different diameters, allowing 90° turning and adapting to reducer piping systems to reduce fluid resistance. Conforms to ASME B16.9, ASTM A420 and other standards. Application areas may be in fire fighting, chemical industry, water treatment, etc.

Grooved 90° Reducing Elbow

  • Certification requirements: fire protection system through UL/FM certification, ASME B16.9 dimensional standards to certify its industrial scenario.
  • Carbon steel/stainless steel: OD tolerance ± 0.1~0.3mm, adjust its wall thickness according to the pressure level (e.g., DN50 wall thickness ≥ 3mm).
  • Seal selection: EPDM rubber for water system, chemical media need to use fluorine rubber or EPDM rubber.
  • Elbow design performance: 90 ° elbow design reduces fluid resistance and pressure loss, to avoid the impact of turbulence on the pipeline.
