Grooved reducing tee wye is a mechanically connected tee with a Y-shaped branch, the main port and branch port with a reducer design, through the groove clamp to achieve rapid installation, suitable for fire protection, industrial piping systems, fluid diversion and reducer control, typical working pressure range of 150-600 psi. Available in carbon steel, stainless steel, or plastic coated.

Grooved Reducing Tee Wye

  1. Carbon steel materials are available in wall thicknesses up to 0.12“-0.47” (3-12mm) for high pressure scenarios up to 600 psi; stainless steel (316L) versions are available for corrosive environments (e.g. coastal areas).
  2. Branch angle must match flow rate (45° or 60° recommended) to avoid cyclonic vibration due to angular misalignment.
  3. The Y-branch design reduces fluid resistance and improves transmission efficiency (approx. 15% lower pressure loss than conventional tees).
  4. Reducing structure supports flexible combinations of DN50 (2“) to DN200 (8”), adapting to the needs of complex piping systems.
  5. The trapezoidal cross-section design greatly improves its deformation resistance, and the deformation rate can still be kept below 0.5% after long-term pressure.
