Grooved X Female Threaded Adapter Elbow connects grooved pipes with female threaded devices (e.g. valves, sprinklers) and supports 90° turning. Quick clamp installation + threaded seal, compatible with multi-material pipes, suitable for fire protection, industrial and water treatment systems.

Carbon steel material needs to pay attention to anti-rust treatment (e.g. galvanized) and avoid long-term exposure to humid environment.
Ensure that the tolerance of slot depth is ≤±0.1mm, and tighten the clamping bolts in stages according to the manufacturer’s torque requirements.
Threaded ends should be filled with raw material tape or sealant. Violent tightening of the threads, causing damage, is prohibited.
Supports cross-material connections (e.g. cast iron pipe to stainless steel equipment) for mainstream thread standards such as NPT/BSPT.
The 90° elbow design saves space and is widely used in applications such as fire protection, chemical, water treatment systems and equipment interface steering.
The groove end is sealed with C-type rubber ring (pressurized sealing) for hermeticity; the threaded end is filled with raw material tape or sealant to fill the gap.
Threaded End Size (NPT/G Standard)
- NPT threads (American Standard Taper Threads) need to be matched with male equipment, dimensional tolerances refer to G thread standard .
- Nominal diameter range: DN15 (1/2“) to DN100 (4”), some models support customized .
