With more than 20 years of experience in the field of pipe fittings production and sales, the production of high-quality pipe fittings is our core corporate requirements, and welcome inquiries.

Grooved flange one-piece fittings are innovative pipe connectors that enable quick installation without welding by combining traditional flanges with groove technology. Its one-piece design eliminates the risk of leakage between the flange and the pipe section, making it suitable for high-pressure scenarios such as fire fighting, petrochemical, water supply and drainage. The carbon steel version offers outstanding economy, while the stainless steel version can cope with corrosive media and, together with elastomer seals, can withstand system pressure fluctuations and temperature changes. The fittings significantly reduce installation time and are the preferred solution for modern piping projects.

Size and Pressure Comparison Chart

PN10 corresponds strictly to 1.0 MPa, and PN16 corresponds to 1.6 MPa.
There is a standard difference in pressure conversion between Class and PN, with AFSL focusing on the design pressure and ESL focusing on the nominal pressure.

EN Grooved Glange One-Piece Face

RF Face (Raised Face)

  • ‌Structural Features‌: The sealing surface is a smooth plane, typically machined with 2-3 concentric grooves (serrations) to enhance sealing performance. The standardized height design ensures international compatibility.
  • ‌Gasket Selection‌:
    • Suitable gaskets: Non-metallic flat gaskets (e.g., asbestos rubber), metal-jacketed gaskets, spiral-wound gaskets (graphite/PTFE filled).
    • Pressure range: PN0.6~10MPa, preferred for medium-low pressure applications.
  • ‌Pros and Cons‌: Easy installation but requires precise alignment; gaskets are prone to extrusion, affecting sealing performance.

FF Face (Flat Face)

  • Structural Features‌: The sealing surface is completely flat, with no raised or recessed areas, requiring full-face gaskets.
  • ‌Gasket Selection‌:
    • Suitable gaskets: Non-metallic soft gaskets (e.g., PTFE), rubber gaskets, suitable for low-pressure (PN≤1.6MPa) and corrosive media.
    • Special requirements: Must be paired with full-face flanges to avoid uneven gasket compression.
  • ‌Pros and Cons‌: Low cost but weaker sealing performance, limited to low-temperature and low-pressure scenarios.
