We have been manufacturing and selling pipe fittings for more than 20 years, selling low prices and producing high quality pipe fittings are our obvious advantages, welcome to inquire.
The American socket weld 90° elbow is specially used in small diameter (nominal pipe size NPS≤2) piping systems. The socket welding process is used to change the fluid flow direction in the small diameter (NPS≤2) piping system to a 90° right angle, with excellent sealing and mechanical strength.

1. Molybdenum-containing stainless steel 316L (ASTM A403) is used to treat corrosive media (such as acids and alkalis). This type is widely used due to its excellent corrosion resistance.
2. Pre-welding treatment: To ensure the cleanliness of the inner wall of the pipeline, it is necessary to remove the scale in the pipeline to prevent pores or slag inclusions in the weld.
3. Clamp connection: The clamp process is preferred for high-pressure applications. This has good sealing and can reduce the resistance of the fluid in the pipeline.
4. Low temperature conditions: In order to prevent brittle fracture, low-temperature steel (such as ASTM A402 WPL6) can be used.
5. Welding parameters: Select matching welding materials according to the parent material (such as A105 welding rod for carbon steel), control the current, and avoid insufficient penetration or burn-through.
6. In applications in high temperature and high pressure environments, it is recommended to use nickel-based alloys (such as Monel 400) to ensure its heat resistance and stress corrosion resistance.
