We have been manufacturing and selling pipe fittings for more than 20 years, selling low prices and producing high quality pipe fittings are our obvious advantages, welcome to inquire.

ANSI socket welding pipe fittings are a common connection method in pipeline systems. They are usually joints with boss structures, which are not only more secure, but also convenient for opening holes in the pipeline to install branch pipes or instrument equipment (such as pressure gauges, thermometers, etc.). In high-pressure and small-diameter (NPS≤4″) pipeline systems, this type of joint can be used to achieve branch connections and provide a stable branch pipe interface.

  1. Pressure ratings: 3000LB (SCH80), 6000LB (SCH160), 9000LB (XXS), in accordance with ASME B16.11 standards.
  2. Nominal Pipe Size (NPS): for 1/8″~4″ pipe (3000LB rating), higher pressure ratings (6000LB/9000LB) usually support smaller diameters (≤2″).
  3. Socket weld end: the pipe is inserted into the socket and connected by fillet weld without beveling, and the weld is located on the outer wall of the socket.
  4. Bump structure: The raised portion provides a branch connection, usually used with threaded or butt-welded branch pipe.
  5. A 1.6mm expansion gap is required before welding to prevent cracking of the weld due to thermal stress.
