The American Socket Weld × Threaded Cross is a hybrid connection type four-way pipe fitting featuring a socket weld connection at the central interface and NPT threads at the branch interfaces. This design combines the vibration resistance advantages of socket weld structures with the installation convenience of threaded connections, making it widely used in applications such as oil wellhead equipment and chemical reactor multi-path distribution systems that require frequent maintenance.

Special Requirements for Socket Weld X Threaded Cross
1. The socket weld ends must undergo non-destructive testing to ensure compliance with standards. The threaded ends must pass taper testing.
2. American socket weld x threaded cross fittings must pass pressure testing: 3000 lb water pressure at 1.5 times the rated pressure for ≥30 seconds; 6000 lb air pressure at 2.0 times the rated pressure for ≥60 seconds.
3. Branch pipe diameter requirements: The central interface must be socket welded, while branch interfaces may use threaded connections.
DN > 50 mm: Grade 1 tolerance allowed
DN ≤ 50 mm: Grade 2 tolerance allow
