Threaded tees are forged fittings connected by NPT tapered threads, mainly used in small-diameter piping systems up to NPS 2”. The structure is molded by die forging process, heat-treated to enhance the mechanical properties, and all three ports are machined with standard pipe threads for quick connection of branch pipes to main lines. Typically used in non-critical applications such as fire hoses, industrial cooling systems and low pressure oil and gas transportation, they are easy to install and cost effective.
